Tim McGraw is one of country music's biggest names, but he hasn't forgotten the power of an intimate performance. At a tour stop in Atlanta on Sunday, that's exactly what he delivered, serenading an enthralled fan with a sweet rendition of Billy Preston's "You Are So Beautiful."

McGraw began the acoustic number by sitting on the stage floor at Aaron's Amphitheater, dedicating the love song to his wife Faith Hill and their daughters, according to concertgoer Kelly Samford Halcomb, who posted a snippet of the performance to YouTube.

When a young woman hoisted herself on stage next to McGraw, the country star took it in stride and finished by singing to her instead. Afterward, he presented the beaming fan with a special souvenir.

Halcomb also put the video on her Facebook page, where it has garnered over 100,000 shares. On Wednesday she posted a follow-up note, saying she'd gone to the concert to cheer herself up after the death of her beloved pet dog, a yellow lab named McGraw.

"I am honored to have captured such a special moment," she wrote of the country star's serenade.

Sounds like it was an inspirational night all around.
