A new TikTok video points out one of Jennifer Aniston's unique acting quirks and it's hard to unsee it once you've watched it.

The post, shared on TikTok user @cts.trphe's account, has been viewed 1.1 million times since January and highlights a vocal tic that's noticeable throughout Aniston's stint on the hit show "Friends."

The TikTok user filmed the video in response to a post from @sheherzog, who challenged other social media users to answer the following prompt: "what is a trope in media that once you saw it you couldn't unsee it?"

In the short clip, @cts.trphe warns followers that their shocking revelation might just ruin people's lives. "If you are a fan of ('Friends'), I'm begging you, scroll away," the social media user says.

After acknowledging that it technically isn't a trope, @cts.trphe goes on to break down the actor's unique quirk: "Jennifer Aniston has this vocal tic that she does at the beginning of every single sentence that she starts on any show that she’s in. It’s very specific and it’s very hard to unsee once you notice it," the TikTok user said.

The video then shows a series of clips of Aniston's vocal tic on full display in "Friends" episodes and @cts.trphe goes on to clear their throat and make a confused face.

Some TikTok users acknowledged that they did notice Aniston clearing her throat often on the show.

"I thought it was on purpose or part of the character. I didn't know it was a Jennifer Aniston thing," one wrote.

Another suggested that it was intentional and not necessarily a vocal tic.

"I thought it was just like acting? to indicate that the character is like uncomfy she only seems to do it in situations that are a little awkward," another commented.

Interestingly enough, this isn't the first time someone has pointed out the actor's vocal tic. In 2019, a YouTube user shared the following video titled "FRIENDS - Rachel Clears Her Throat 200 Times (Entire Series)." Over the course of two minutes and 17 seconds, fans get to relive all the times the actor exhibited her signature quirk onscreen.

Some YouTubers had already noticed the tic, and one commented "oh my god!!! so i wasn't the only one to notice this hahaha."

Still, some fans were enlightened after watching the video montage.

"I’ve watched Friends thousands of times, how have I not noticed this?? Next time I watch, I’ll pay attention," another wrote.

In addition to the video about Aniston, @cts.trphe also shared a few reflections on Tom Cruise in a follow up post.

"Tom Cruise runs in every single one of his movies for some reason, even if it doesn't make sense," the TikTok user said.

They also took a moment to reflect on something Tom Hanks seems to do often onscreen.

"Tom Hanks pees on things or is peeing in almost all of his movies, especially his early ones," the TikTok user said.
