You're never too old to have a passion for pop music!
Need proof? Just take a look at Cyrus Porter, who at 96, might just be Taylor Swift's oldest fan — and her luckiest.
Porter was treated to a private performance from the hit maker in New Madrid, Missouri, on Monday, and the World War II vet didn't simply smile over his good fortune. He stood up so he could shake to "Shake It Off" while she sang.
"Popo," as his grandkids call him, recently expressed his love for Swift to a local news station. When he was asked if he was a fan of anyone or anything else, he told the KFVS reporter, "Nah, nah."
He also revealed that he'd already seen Swift in concert twice before and hoped to see her perform just one more time — a wish that soon came true.
Swift learned about her special fan after that interview went viral, so she planned what one of Porter's grandsons called "a Christmas miracle!!!"
Porter's family gathered together the day after Christmas and Swift crashed the party, surprising them all with hugs, pictures and that special concert for Popo.
"My grandpa was so excited!" Robert Frye tweeted after it was all over. "Won't be able to get the smile off my grandpa's face for months."
