Britney did it again Wednesday night.

The House of Blues in Anaheim, California was the second stop in Britney Spears' trio of club "comeback" shows, and it played out much like Tuesday night's performance in San Diego.

Dressed in the same outfit as the first show (mini skirt, pink bikini top, boots, wig), Britney took to the stage with four backup dancers at approximately 9:30 p.m., launching into her classic hit, "Baby One More Time."

Spears followed that up with the same shortened versions of the songs she did in San Diego: "Do Somethin'," "I'm a Slave 4 U," "Breathe on Me," and "Toxic."

While her dancing was markedly more kinetic than it was in San Diego, Britney lip synced her way through all of the songs — just as she did the night before — but there was a slight difference: she was actually chewing gum throughout it all!

But the lack of actual singing was made up for by the packed crowd, who sang along with the tunes as they excitedly jumped up and down, cheering for Britney throughout. The fans' reaction definitely seemed more amped than the previous night's, possibly because their fears of a "one-night-only" performance from Spears were unfounded.

Lowered expectations may have also been a factor in the increased excitement, as the forgiving fans most likely knew what sort of performance was coming their way (if the night before was any indication).

Another change in the evening was the opening act — rather than a pair of DJs spinning songs, the crowd was reportedly treated to a performance by R&B singer Frankie J.

Security was tighter in Anaheim, with audience members having to surrender their cell phones at the door. This was most likely a pre-emptive measure taken to avoid the blitz of leaked footage that came out of the previous night's show.

Britney capped off her 15-minute set with a thank you to the audience and dancers — the only verbal interaction she had with the crowd throughout.

She is expected to perform one last time tonight at The House of Blues in West Hollywood, Calif., billed under the pseudonym "The M & M's."
