The tribe has spoken: Spencer was voted out of Jalapao because of his admittedly "pretty pathetic" performance during the immunity challenge, in which he said he "let my guys down." Taj pointed out that the tribe had "no more expendable people," so it was either Spencer or her who was going next. Despite Taj flipping out at Joe and other members of the tribe when they returned from the challenge, the tribe voted for Spencer.

Not an option: Spencer had a conversation with Sydney about relationships and told her "there are a lot of cute girls at [the University of Florida]," because as he told us, "my tribemates are not aware that I'm gay." He said coming out to his tribemates was "not the best option for me in the game at this point" and said it was "disappointing" that "guys like J.T. ... maybe they're inclined to get rid of somebody like me just because I'm gay."

Toilet paper and tears: Jalapao's reward was to visit the "Charmin Cafe," a picnic table with food and a nearby toilet stocked with Charmin toilet paper. But that modern comfort and convenience was soon forgotten when Jalapao discovered they also received letters from home, which brought almost everyone to tears. J.T. and Joe both said that their parents wrote things in their letters that they rarely say to them in real life.

The power of none: Taj and Brendan's Exile alliance has "gotten more and more powerful," Brendan said, as both sets of allies found their respective immunity idols. But after Brendan chose to go to Exile with Stephen, Tyson suspected something was up. "I think Brendan's trying to build relations with the other tribe," he correctly guessed, and told his tribemates that Brendan needs to go next.

Take a bite out of the show: After Jalapao lost the immunity challenge, Jeff Probst said the strangest post-challenge line he's ever said to a losing tribe: "The only thing I have for you is your tooth," and with that, he handed J.T. a chunk of his tooth that came out during the challenge.

Rain man: Coach stared at the clouds and analyzed the wind, and said of an approaching storm, "I think it's gonna go just past us." The editors immediately cut to a shot of everyone in the shelter as they waited out a tremendous downpour. As Erinn said, "Coach is kind of a jackass."

Personal growth moment of the week: As Taj moaned, Stephen said, "I've never brought such pleasure to a woman before" — and all he had to do was scratch her back.
