Stephen Collins' scandal has led to another lost job: "Scandal." Collins was to appear in season four of the hit ABC drama from Shonda Rhimes, but his scenes have been cut, E! News has confirmed.

"We can confirm that we will not be airing any footage with Stephen Collins," a rep for ABC told E! News in a statement.

Collins allegedly admitted to molesting young girls in an audiotape leaked to the press. The actor, best known for his role as Reverend Eric Camden on "7th Heaven," previously appeared in a 2012 episode of "Scandal" as Reed Wallace.

BuzzFeed first reported "Scandal's" decision to cut Collins from an upcoming episode.
In late September, Collins tweeted about his upcoming guest stint. "Happy to say I did another episode of #Scandal. Had a gr8 time. Wish I could say more but @ShondaRhimes would have to kill me," he tweeted.

Following the release of the tapes, Collins was fired from the upcoming flick "Ted 2" and resigned from the SAG-AFTRA board.

Collins spent 11 seasons as the Camden family patriarch on "7th Heaven." Since the allegations surfaced, several networks have dropped reruns of the wholesome series.

"As a top family-friendly network, we are deeply concerned for the families that are potentially affected by these disturbing allegations surrounding actor Stephen Collins," UPtv President Charley Humbard said in a statement. "'7th Heaven' has been a beloved family show and a fan favorite on our network. We have made the decision to remove the series from our schedule effective at 5 p.m. ET today."

In addition to his previous "Scandal" and "7th Heaven" work, Collins' TV credits also include "Revolution," "Devious Maids" and "Private Practice." On "Private Practice," Collins played dad to Kate Walsh's character.
