The jury in the murder trial of Phil Spector has gone home for the day without reaching a verdict.
It was the sixth day of deliberations in the music producer’s trial.
The 67-year-old Spector is accused of shooting 40-year-old Lana Clarkson in 2003 in his Alhambra mansion.
He maintains Clarkson shot herself.
Jurors have been told they cannot convict Spector of a lesser charge such as manslaughter.
Spector faces 15 years to life in prison if convicted of second-degree murder.
