Nick Lachey has rekindled his romance with “Entertainment Tonight” reporter Vanessa Minnillo.

The two had supposedly gone separate ways, but several sources report the couple looking cuddly at the Borgata casino in Atlantic City.

“They definitely shared a room,” a source told Us Weekly. “They went up there with a posse, and the posse left shortly thereafter.”

The two reportedly also just spent two days in a villa near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The two checked out of the hotel together, according to Life & Style Weekly.

The reports have dashed, at least temporary, hopes by Jessica Simpson that the two might reconcile, a source tells The Scoop. “Despite what she’s been saying publicly, I believe she wants very much to get back with with Nick,” a source says.

Yet, according to L&S, Lachey has made a last ditch effort to get back with Simpson. He called his “Newlyweds” co-star with an offer that they go to Hawaii to “see if their relationship still had any life in it,” an “insider” told the mag, which goes on to report that she turned him down because “she wants her freedom more than she wants a second chance.”

Donald Trump is old school about germs
Melania Trump doesn’t have to worry about her hubby fooling around with any teachers: he won’t even touch their hands.

The "Apprentice" star and real-estage mogul is a and dislikes shaking peoples’ hands, but he says that sometimes it’s impossible to avoid handshaking when making business deals.

“But I am going to do everything in my power not to shake hands with teachers,” notes Trump. “According to a new study, teachers have the germiest jobs. They have 17,000 germs per square inch on their desk. That’s ten times the germ rate of those in other professions.”

When contacted by The Scoop for a response, a spokesman for the American Federation of Teachers declined to comment.

Trump also says he avoids touching the first-floor button in elevators. “ It’s absolutely swarming with germs,” he declares. “In fact, I think from now on I’m just going to walk up to my office. It’s pretty high up there, but I could use the exercise.”

Notes from all overLindsay Lohan has been letting friends listen to a message that Bruce Willis had left for her, according to Star magazine. “Hey gorgeous, I had so much fun with you last night,” the 51-year-old “Die Hard” star told the 19-year-old “Mean Girls” star, according to the tab. She also let her buddies listen to a tame message left by her latest squeeze, 28 year old “Spider-Man” hottie James Franco.  . . . Gwen Stefani is upset that her son’s birth was upstaged by the birth of , says a source.  . . . Quirky actress Juliette Lewis is taking time out of her rock career to make her professional stage debut in London in Sam Shepard’s “Fool for Love.” Lewis says she’s happy to be out of Hollywood. “You’ve got to be pretty and desirable all the time and I’ve tried too much to be unpretty and weird,” the “Natural Born Killers star told the London Times. “I clean up well, but it would be like a straitjacket to me if I had to live up to that kind of beauty in every film.”
