Everyone knows Real Housewives of D.C. stars Michaele and Tareq Salahi need help, but Celebrity Rehab?

News that the infamous White House gate crashers --neither celebrities nor apparent addicts--have signed up for Dr. Drew Pinsky's rehab show had us all baffled, but apparently the reports are only partially inaccurate...

MORE: More Ado About White House Gate Crashers...

Michaele--who we've always viewed as her scam artist hubby's ventriloquist dummy --is filming the fifth-season of VH1's trainwreck reality show without Tareq, her publicist confirmed in a coy press release:

"To address the recent rumors that both Salahis are filming on the set of Celebrity Rehab: Part of this story is inaccurate...In regards to Mr. Tareq Salahi being part of this project underway, that is inaccurate at this time of the release."

As for what "addiction" the Redskins cheerleader impostor might be suffering from, the publicist would only say "Michaele Salahi is consulting with Dr. Drew and she hopes he will be able to assist her about everything she has endured over the last year."

Too bad the Salahis' long-suffering creditors can't get an assist (and reality-show paycheck) from Dr. Drew.

"As you can imagine, everyone has a different journey that one goes through in life," oozes the Salahis' flack. "Television Star [sic] Michaele Salahi has a very compelling story and [her new show will] focus on the private pains and personal struggles she endured that resulted from the White House issues, Congress and how these life changing events affected her Multiple Sclerosis. Most human beings couldn't imagine the personal pain that Michaele has suffered, and soon the American public will learn more about what no one has been able to see so far on the Television Screen."

Now we'll see if said Television Screen is big enough for her and this season's other attention-seeking "rehabbers," Michael Lohan, Bai Ling, Jeremy Jackson and Amy Fisher.

Are you eager to learn more about Michaele's personal struggles, or do you wish the Salahis would just stay away from your Television Screen? Let us know in the comments.
