"We love the present cast, and their summer adventures have just begun," an MTV spokesperson tells E! News regarding the speculation that The Situation &Co. would be let go after they complete season five, which is scheduled to begin shooting back in the Garden State next week. "We currently have no plans to recast the show."
Mind you, "plans" do sometimes change. But at least we can take heart in knowing that our favorite guidos and guidettes aren't going away anytime soon. Um, right?
