"Saturday Night Live" poked fun at Hillary Clinton's anticipated announcement of her 2016 presidential campaign during the show’s cold open, with Kate McKinnon's Clinton producing a social media video that the she is expected to release on Sunday.
“Citizens! You will elect me! I will be your leader!” McKinnon's Clinton said to the camera, as her aide (Vanessa Bayer) coached her toward "softer" facial expressions.
The skit also featured a surprise guest appearance from “SNL” alum Darrell Hammond's Bill Clinton, who played the former president for "SNL" throughout the 90s. "Aren't we such a fun, approachable dynasty?" McKinnon said toward the end of the sketch.
The episode, hosted by Taraji P. Henson, also saw the return of another "SNL" alum, Billy Crystal, who made a Weekend Update appearance as the father of Jacob the Bar Mitzvah Boy, who helped explain the meaning of Passover.
Scarlett Johansson will host the show's next episode on May 2.
