Fans of heavy metal band Slipknot were stunned when bassist Paul Gray was found dead in a hotel room in May 2010, and members of the group are still reeling from the loss.

On Thursday's episode of "NY Ink," lead singer Corey Taylor pays a visit to the Wooster St. Social Club tattoo shop, where he has an image of Gray tattooed on his calf.

While getting his new art, Taylor becomes incredibly emotional. "I didn't realize how much I was sitting on (my emotions) until (the tattoo work) was almost over. And I just lost it hard," Taylor said. "I just let it come."

And he did. Taylor starts crying on the table and has to be consoled by an employee. Watch a clip:

"NY Ink" airs at 10 p.m. on Thursdays on TLC.
