Recognize the brunette singer in the photo at right? If she weren't identified, would you be able to recognize Sinead O'Connor? It's a very different look for the 44-year-old, formerly bald artist.
The photo was snapped over the weekend at the Manchester International Festival in England, where O'Connor sang from her upcoming album, "Home."
And although O'Connor's look is obviously very different, her vocal chops are familiar. In The Telegraph's review of the show, the paper wrote, "she opens her mouth and it's as if time has melted. Her voice still has that same sense of despairing purity, a vulnerability that gives her already intense songs a rare depth."
O'Connor is famously remembered for a 1992 "Saturday Night Live" appearance where she tore up a photo of then-Pope John Paul II in what she intended as a protest against sexual abuse in the Roman Catholic Church.
