The saga of Charlie Sheen and adult film actress Capri Anderson continued to unfold on Tuesday.

Following Sheen’s lawsuit on Monday, (she filed a complaint with the police; she has yet to file a lawsuit) the actor’s lawyer told Access Hollywood that a series of text messages between the actor and Anderson (first published on TMZ) after their infamous night together, was not the actor attempting to silence Anderson with cash.

According to Sheen’s lawyer, Yale Galanter, the TV star offered to pay Anderson $12,000 for her services, which he claims did not include sex, and $7,000 for her purse, which Anderson claimed the actor had ruined. Galanter said the text messages were flirtatious in nature.

Also on Tuesday, a spokesperson from the New York County District Attorney’s Office told Access that Anderson met with an Assistant District Attorney, not the District Attorney, which TMZ reported.

The spokesperson also said that the New York Police Department was planning on meeting with Sheen about the events surrounding his and Anderson’s night at The Plaza Hotel.
