Seth Meyers may have left the 30 Rock building he's called home since 2001, but it's just temporary: The "Late Night" host will be emceeing the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards from L.A. Monday night.

Meyers originally made his bones on "Saturday Night Live," but don't worry — he's got excellent awards show hosting skills, thanks to time at the White House Correspondents Dinner and the ESPYs. What to expect from him Monday? You'll have to tune in. But here are five bits that are always good for a laugh.

The White House Correspondents Dinner
In 2011, Meyers stood before the political elite and the press of Washington, D.C., and skewered both. "I'm going to be making a lot of jokes about many of the people in this room, but don't worry, I assure you no matter how harsh the jokes they have all been vetted by the man at the top, Chinese President Hu Jin Tao," he began. And it went ... everywhere from there.

'Fred Talks'
On "Late Night," Meyers often talks with his bandleader (and former "SNL" cohort) Fred Armisen about what he's working on. Armisen's stories are ever more outrageous, and almost entirely without merit or truth. Meyers does his best not to collapse into laughter, even when Armisen discusses something like a "Freckles Parade" he's organizing.

'Hermione's Growth Spurt'
As Ron Weasley (to Rachel Dratch's Harry Potter) on "SNL," Meyers got pretty pop-eyed when Hermione (Lindsay Lohan) returned from summer break with some new assets.

Instagram follies
Want to know what went on in "Late Night"? Just follow Meyers' Instagram feed, which is full of great photos of guests (like Boy George meeting Taylor Swift in the green room) and shots of Meyers doing his monologue, with some of the jokes added in text.

'SNL' farewell
Meyers left one late night show for another in February, although he only had to go to a different floor in 30 Rockefeller Plaza to start his new "Late Night" gig. His goodbye from "Saturday Night" was both touching and hilarious, thanks in part to his earnest remarks and the appearances of fellow vets Bill Hader (as Stefon), Amy Poehler, Armisen (again!) and Andy Samberg.

And here's one bonus: Meyers participated in a Reddit AMA last Wednesday, which is worth checking out to read about his ongoing love for Stefon alone.

Good luck, Seth! We'll be rooting for you ... and laughing along.

The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards air Monday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
