Selma Blair has the obvious solution to being hounded by the paparazzi — don’t go where the photographers are.
Blair avoids the restaurants and streets in Los Angeles where the paparazzi hang out.
“I love The Ivy. I won’t go there that much because you know there’s paparazzi. I love shopping on Robertson (Boulevard). You know if you go, you’d better put on a cute skirt because they’re going to get a picture of you,” the 33-year-old actress told reporters recently, according to AP Radio.
However, Blair, whose screen credits include “Cruel Intentions,” “Legally Blonde” and “In Good Company,” has had her share of attention.
The actress says a dozen vans chased her while she was riding a bike that her husband had given her for her birthday.
“There were like 12 vans and me on a bicycle. I don’t want them to see where I’m going back home. Because once you’re out and they’ve nabbed you and you can’t lose them, you’re just out all day,” she said.
Blair said she doesn’t deserve to be in the tabloids just yet.
“My career’s not in a place like where I feel I’m really worthy of people having to look at my face every day. So I’d like to kind of stay a little low-key until I’ve earned it.”
