The 2024 Citi Concert Series on TODAY is here! We’re answering all of your big questions about attending a concert on our TODAY Plaza, from how to request Fan Passes, to when and where to arrive so you don't miss your favorite act. Check out our FAQs below, and we'll see you at the show!

How can I attend a concert?

TODAY concerts are free and open to the public. The concerts will take place on our TODAY Plaza in Rockefeller Center, located on the corner of 48th Street and Rockefeller Plaza between 5th & 6th Avenues, in New York City.

Every concert offers a limited number of Fan Passes available by advance request. Guests who receive Fan Passes will be notified by email prior to the scheduled concert date.

If you do not receive a Fan Pass, you can still join the General Admission line on the morning of the concert, and those fans will be admitted if space permits.

How do I get a Fan Pass?

What is a Fan Pass?

Fan Passes give fans priority access to the show, ahead of General Admission.

How do I know if I got a Fan Pass?

Fan Pass recipients will be notified via email before the concert date.

Are Fan Passes free?

Yes.

Can I sell my Fan Pass?

No.

I have a Fan Pass and can no longer attend the concert. Can I give the pass to someone else?

Unfortunately, passes are not transferable. If you can no longer attend, your pass will be released the morning of the show. We encourage any guests to attend as part of the General Admission audience.

Do I need a Fan Pass to attend a concert?

No. If you do not receive a Fan Pass, you can still join the General Admission line on the morning of the concert, and those fans will be admitted if space permits.

How will I know if the concert schedule changes?

Sign up for the TODAY Concert Alerts to receive updates on any concert schedule/line-up changes. Changes will also be communicated on air, on TODAY.com and via TODAY’s social media channels whenever possible. Follow TODAY on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

How do I get there?

The closest subway stop to our TODAY Plaza concerts is the 47th – 50th Streets - Rockefeller Center station on the B,D,F,M trains. 24/7 parking is also available nearby at the Rockefeller Center Parking Garage at 53 West 48th Street. The garage is operated 24/7 and accepts reservations in advance. Hourly and daily parking rates apply.

Where should I check-in?

General Admission and Fan Pass check-in is usually located at the corner of 48th Street and Rockefeller Plaza between 5th and 6th Ave. Specific check-in details are provided on each concert page here.

Can I leave the concert area and re-enter?

For security reasons, re-entry is not allowed. Once attendees enter the concert area, they must stay for the duration of the show or until they decide to leave the premises.

I have a Fan Pass. Does it guarantee that I'll be directly in front of the stage?

Fan Pass holders are invited on the Plaza ahead of the general public. Exact placement is at the discretion of security.

How many Fan Passes do you give out?

It varies for each concert.

What time should I arrive to get a good spot?

We recommend that Fan Pass recipients and General Admission arrive by 5 a.m. For security purposes, a concert line cannot form until 7 p.m the day before the performance.

What COVID-19 protocols are in place?

Proof of vaccination is currently not required to visit the TODAY Plaza. In connection with your attendance, please be advised that TODAY’s policies, CDC guidelines, and the recommendations of health officials must be followed. Please note that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19, and we cannot guarantee that any person will not be exposed during a visit.

What can/can’t I bring to the concert with me?

All guests will go through a security checkpoint upon arrival. Guests are welcome to bring beverages and snacks. Large items, such as luggage, are not permitted. TODAY reserves the right to deny admission or remove any individuals from the premises at any time, for any reason.

What should I wear?

The dress code is casual. Remember, you could be on camera.We also reserve the right to deny entry to anyone dressed inappropriately.

What if I need accessibility or accommodation?

Guests with disabilities should proceed to the front of the check-in line, and let the TODAY Plaza staff or security of their accessibility needs. For more information on accessibility at Rockefeller Center, please visit Accessibility & Inclusion at Rockefeller Center.

Are there seats on the Plaza?

Our concerts are standing room only, and chairs cannot be provided. Guests requiring special accommodations should proceed to the front of the check-in line and alert the TODAY Plaza staff or security of their needs.

Are there restrooms on the Plaza?

There are no restrooms on the Plaza. Guests are advised to use the restrooms prior to arrival, but in case of emergency, there are public restrooms on the concourse level of Rockefeller Center.

Does the concert happen rain or shine?

Our concerts typically happen rain or shine. However, if inclement weather becomes especially challenging and/or dangerous, the outdoor portion of our show may be affected. Also, in the event of breaking news coverage, our regularly scheduled programming could be affected.

Are there options for coffee and breakfast nearby?

There are several cafés & restaurants around Rockefeller Center, in close proximity to the Plaza. The TODAY Plaza team can recommend a few options upon arrival, or you can plan ahead by exploring options in Rockefeller Center.
