It looks like Ellen DeGeneres hasn't finished with her playful pranks aimed at our very own Matt Lauer.

After months of digitally-manipulated gags that made it seem as if the anchor had a big interest in "Fifty Shades of Grey" (and very little interest in clothes), she's now enlisting others to give her a hand right.

DeGeneres found her inspiration in a viewer who recently stopped by the TODAY plaza and held up a sign that read, "Ellen sent me to spank Matt Lauer."

"Let me be clear, I did not send that woman ... but she had a good idea!" the host told her audience before sharing her own signs-on-the-plaza plan.

It looks like it's already working! TODAY's Alex Ficquette captured the evidence Wednesday morning.
