After a heated battle filled with explosive accusations, country singer Sara Evans and Craig Schelske have finally settled their divorce.

Court papers obtained by “Access Hollywood,” say that the couple has decided to amicably resolve all issues of their split, and are now officially divorced.

“The parties have agreed that it is in their best interests and those of their children to amicably resolve all issues in their pending divorce. Each wishes the other well in all future endeavors. Both parties are fully committed to raising their children in a cooperative and positive way,” the papers state.

The papers, filed on Friday in Williamson County, Tennessee, indicate Evans has been granted the divorce on the grounds of “irreconcilable differences.”

According to the documents, Evans will pay her ex-husband an alimony sum of $500,000, which can be broken up into 10 annual payments.

The court ruled Evans would keep the family’s home in Tennessee, while Schelske has been awarded the couple’s two homes in Oregon.

Evans filed for divorce in October 2006. The couple was married in 1993 and have three children.
