Some grim findings in the shocking death of Ryan Dunn.

After conducting an autopsy, the Chester County (Pa.) Coroner's Office has confirmed that both the Jackass star and his passenger, Zachary Hartwell, perished from a combination of blunt force trauma and the inferno that engulfed his 2007 Porsche in an early morning crash on Monday.

But we'll have to wait a while before we learn if alcohol played a role.

In the autopsy findings released today, the coroner ruled that the 34-year-old Dunn and 30-year-old Hartwell, a production assistant on Jackass Number Two, were already dead from blunt force trauma and thermal trauma by the time emergency personnel reached the scene of the fiery accident.

Police in West Goshen Township, Pa. have only said that speed may have been a factor in the fatal wreck, in which Dunn's Porsche flew off the road and burst into flames after hitting some trees.

But one issue the coroner's report does not settle for now is the heated debate as to whether Dunn's drinking at nearby Barnaby's of America bar contributed to the tragedy. Toxicology tests will take up to six weeks to determine if Dunn was under the influence.

Just hours before the fateful ride, the MTV star tweeted a pic of himself enjoying a beer with his buddies.

Not long after news broke of his death, film critic Roger Ebert weighed in, tweeting, "Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive." The post drew an angry, curse-laden reply from Dunn's Jackass compadre Bam Margera. Ebert has since apologized for the tweet, saying he never meant for it to come off as cruel and has "no way of knowing" if Dunn was drunk. Though he defended the original intent of the tweet warning about the perils of drunk driving.
