...Rudd will be playing Leslie Knope's (Amy Poehler) political rival as the race for city council heats up.

Also cast for a multi-episode arc is former Free Agent (RIP) star Kathryn Hahn. She'll be part of Rudd's political team going up against Leslie. TVLine.com first reported the casting.

NBC has yet to comment on Rudd's role (NBC and E! are both part of the NBC Universal family. TODAY.com is part of a joint venture between NBC and Microsoft).

P.Rex fans, do you love this pairing or what?
