Rosie Perez will depart ABC's "The View" later this summer, when the season ends. Really this time!

Executive producer Bill Wolff told the show's staff in a note about the departure on Tuesday, USA Today reported. "Our friend Rosie Perez has decided to leave the show at the conclusion of this season to pursue full time her love for acting. Stepping into the role of talk show host at the same time she has been starring on Broadway [in 'Fish in the Dark'] has been incredibly impressive."

Back in January Variety had reported she was leaving the show, which she had joined in Sept. 2014. But a representative denied the exit at the time. Perez took off that month to start her run in "Fish," but returned on Feb. 3.

That said, a Rosie did leave "The View" in February ... Rosie O'Donnell. Perez's exit will leave co-hosts Nicolle Wallace and Raven-Symone with moderator Whoopi Goldberg.

Good news, though: Perez leaving means she'll have more time to cuddle with the BFF she made on TODAY in late February — Wrangler!
