Rosie O’Donnell has hit back at Donald Trump’s claims on Wednesday afternoon that he plans to sue her and entice her partner from her arms.On her official Web site Rosie.com, “The View” co-host said she’ll keep her fans apprised of Trump’s legal actions, writing:“I will let u (sic) know if the donald sues meor if kelli leaves me for one of his palsdon’t u find him charming.”Rosie was responding directly to Access Hollywood’s interview with the Donald where he advised her to “be careful because I’ll send one of my friends to pick up her girlfriend.”In fact, it appears it was that comment, heard exclusively on Access Hollywood Wednesday evening, that prompted Rosie’s partner Kelli Carpenter to accompany her to “The View” taping this morning. “Look who’s here today, Kelli,” Rosie said to the audience during the show’s opening segment Thursday. “I was afraid to leave her at home in case someone with a comb over stole her.”

The war of words started between the two personalities when Rosie lashed out at Trump on Wednesday’s “The View.” She began by making fun of the Miss USA press conference where Trump allowed Tara Conner to keep her crown, following reports of Conner’s underage drinking. “Because his show ‘The Apprentice’ is starting again in January, he held a big press conference to see if he was going to allow Miss USA, such a prestigious title, (to keep her crown),” Rosie said Wednesday. Rosie continued her rant lashing out at Donald Trump’s decision to give Tara Conner a second chance. “There he is, hair looping, going everyone, everyone deserves a second chance,” she began. “He’s the moral authority? Left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair, had kids both times, but he’s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America. Donald, sit and spin, my friend.”She also said she expected him to sue her but added “he’ll probably be bankrupt by that time so I won’t have to worry.” In fact, it was Rosie referring to Trump’s previous bankruptcy filings that appeared to anger “The Apprentice” star the most. “I’m worth $5 billion plus by a lot and Rosie said Trump went bankrupt, I never went bankrupt,” he told Access Hollywood’s cameras.

“She’ll say anything that comes to her unattractive mouth. She said I went bankrupt, I’m worth much more than $5 million, she said lots of things . . . . She says things that come to her mouth, she’s not smart, she’s crude, she’s ignorant and to be honest I look forward to suing Rosie. I’m gonna sue her and I look forward to it. She’s really very dangerous for the show.”

Today, in response Rosie posted the Bankruptcy section of the Donald Trump entry at Wikipedia.com, the user-generated online encyclopedia.

“loving the wiki,” she wrote“I use it”“do u”

Bill Geddie and Barbara Walters, executive producers of “The View,” weighed in on the verbal fracas Wednesday, releasing the following statement: “Both Rosie and Donald are high-spirited, opinionated people. Donald has been a friend of “The View” for many years and Rosie, of course, is our enormously popular moderator. We cherish them both and hope the New Year brings calm and peace.”
