Fellow comedians and stars reacted with shock and despair on social media over the news Monday that Robin Williams, the man so full of life in so many memorable performances, was found dead at age 63.

Fans of the actor's also included stars such as Miley Cyrus, Khloe Kardashian, Quincy Jones and more. Some tweeted lines from his movies while others said they were so sad they felt like a piece of their childhood had passed away.

The news was taken especially hard by fellow comedians, who paid the highest tribute by remembering how much Williams made them laugh over the years.

Even President Obama, in a statement issued Monday night, said he was touched by Williams' "immeasurable talent."

And we'll leave the final word to The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, who tweeted a tender nod to Williams' role in "Aladdin."
