Zelda Williams, the daughter of Robin Williams, showed off a tattoo tribute to her father via Instagram on Wednesday. The new ink features a small hummingbird near her thumb and the late actor's birth date on the inside of her wrist.
"For poppo. Thank you to the incomparable @dr_woo_ssc for so beautifully bringing my reminders to life. I'll always put my hand out to shake with a smile," Zelda, 25, wrote in the caption.
Robin Williams took his own life on Aug. 11 at age 63. According to E! Online, during a private reception to honor the comic star, friends and family received wristbands that featured a hummingbird image and included the phrase, "Love the Stillness of Life."
Zelda hadn't been active on Instagram since a couple days after her father's death. On the day of his passing, she posted a quotation, noting, "I'll try to keep looking up."
On Wednesday she addressed whether her photo account would continue to be updated.
"As for this Instagram, I don't know in what capacity I'll continue using it in the future, but I'm leaving it up regardless so that fake accounts hoping to use my name or misuse my family's photos will get no traction. To be clear, this is MY ONLY account. Publicly, I have Twitter, and this. If other people post quotes and photos claiming to be me or my family, please, do not send them personal information or click links, even for charity. They could be utilizing sympathy to scam you. For the record, no one has ever or will ever speak for me but me. Thank you."
Robin Williams' last post on Instagram was a throwback photo of the Oscar winner with his daughter as a young girl.
