Talk about unfortunate timing.

Less than a week after the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced that they were reopening the 30-year-old investigation into the death of actress Natalie Wood, Wood’s husband, Robert Wagner, is set to make his small screen return as a murder suspect on “NCIS.”

On the CBS drama, Wagner, who according to police is not considered a suspect in Wood’s death, plays Anthony DiNozzo, Sr., otherwise known as the father of Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo. It’s not the first time Wagner’s joined the show for the same role, but it is the first time his character’s been seen carted off in handcuffs.

In a clip from the “Sins of the Father” episode, the elder DiNozzo is arrested after a body is found in the trunk of his car.

“I have no recollection of what happened,” DiNozzo reveals upon questioning.

Find out if how the case comes to its conclusion when "NCIS" airs Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
