Kathie Lee and Hoda clearly have chemistry on TV. But everybody wants to know: does the camaraderie go on after the cameras are off?

Meg Grant, a reporter for "AARP the Magazine," recently set out to find out, visiting the Florida Keys home where KLG had invited Hoda for a good old fashioned sleepover. She followed the ladies as they played dress up, swam, and of course, drank plenty of pinot grigio.

The article, which is in this month's issue of AARP, described the good-natured way they love to tease each other as a "raucous daily give-and-take that has made the women not just professional colleagues but close friends." The piece also sweetly reveals that at their first lunch together, Kathie Lee told Hoda that “You’re the kind of person I’d be friends with for the rest of my life.”

And they've been BFFs ever since. It's not like they don't occasionally have their differences, but, "while the two pals admit that they sometimes can get on each other’s nerves, they insist that, unlike the stereotypes of cat-fighting professional women, their relationship is remarkably noncompetitive and trusting." A quote from Hoda put it best -- that without KLG, her like would be "half as full."

As if you needed more proof that they're really pals, now you have journalistic evidence.
