How real is reality TV? When it comes to the onscreen adventures of the Kardashian family, that’s a tricky question.

Just take a look at Kim’s recent wedding. Sure, the most famous of the Kardashian kids really tied the knot, but according toTMZ, there’s proof that at least one moment from the big day didn’t happen naturally.

All aspects of the wedding were filmed for the upcoming special “Kim Kardashian’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event” and TMZ alleges that one portion was plotted and scripted by show producers before the cameras rolled.

An audio recording (available here) said to capture producers’ “walkie-talkie chatter” relates a proposed touching scene for Kim’s sister Kourtney and her boyfriend Scott Disick.

“Hey, we need to do a thing of Kourtney and Scott,” a woman can be heard to say. “Like, ‘love is in the air’ and they talk about ‘OK, fine. You know, we’ll get married or something.’”

How ... romantic?

Other voices respond, indicating that they’re ready and waiting for the shot.

Kardashian fans won’t know how or if that scene plays for some time. “Kim Kardashian’s Fairytale Wedding” airs Oct. 9 at 8 p.m and Oct. 10 at 9 p.m ET on the E! network.
