Charlie Sheen’s manager said Sunday that television’s highest-paid actor “is fine” and will be back at work Tuesday despite his drunken rampage at a swanky New York hotel that resulted in a trip to a hospital, another public relations black eye, and a tab for thousands of dollars in damages.

The fallout over the Oct. 26 fracas at The Plaza Hotel may not be over, however, until the porn star sings.

A spokesman for the 22-year-old adult film actress who was inside the suite when the incident occurred said a civil complaint is being drafted and that a suit could be filed against Sheen as early as this week. The woman, Christina Walsh, reportedly locked herself in a bathroom and called hotel security while an allegedly drunk and enraged Sheen screamed and trashed the place — all because he suspected she had stolen his expensive watch.

Walsh, who is credited as “Capri Anderson” in several adult films she appeared in, did not file a police complaint and no criminal charges are expected to be filed in New York, according to TMZ.com.

This weekend, the celebrity website posted photographs it says were taken Monday night at Daniel, a ritzy restaurant where Sheen and a small entourage that included Walsh dined and drank. TMZ said Sheen met Walsh at The Plaza Hotel’s bar early in the evening and invited her to join his party for dinner.

Sheen’s children, 6-year-old Sam and 5-year-old Lola, were in a different suite when the alleged tirade occurred. They didn’t hear or see anything, according to actress Denise Richards, the children’s mother and Sheen’s ex-wife.

A ‘criminal act’

Walsh has made no public comment about the rampage at the hotel, but was reportedly frightened by Sheen’s behavior.

“She’s angry, she says, because she believes she was threatened,” said TMZ’s Harvey Levin. “She believes Charlie committed a criminal act.”

Back in Hollywood to shoot a cameo for a friend’s film in which he portrays himself, Sheen dodged questions about the incident at The Plaza. “I lost my voice,” he told reporters.

Sheen’s publicist, Stan Rosenfield, told NBC News that Walsh may be trying to cash in on the actor’s fame and fortune. Sheen reportedly earns nearly $2 million per episode for his role as Charlie Harper in “Two and a Half Men,” the sitcom in which he stars as a womanizing Malibu playboy.

If Walsh does file a lawsuit against Sheen, it could come at a price.

“Of course she can sue for things like emotional distress, assault, maybe battery. The question is, does she want to?” said attorney Wendy Murphy, a former federal prosecutor. “Everything about her conduct that night will be fair game.”

Sheen, who has been in and out of courtrooms and rehab for substance abuse, has been linked to porn stars in the past. Currently Sheen is married to Brooke Mueller, but has been estranged from her since Christmas Day last year, when he reportedly assaulted her. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for that incident and received probation and was ordered to seek treatment for anger management.

Sheen, 45, is the son of actor Martin Sheen, who is reportedly planning a family intervention.
