Days after news that “Hairspray” star Nikki Blonsky and her father, Carl, were arrested for allegedly engaging in a brawl with “Americas Next Top Model” Cycle 9 contestant Bianca Golden, new claims about the altercation have emerged.

The Turks and Caicos airport brawl last Wednesday reportedly left Bianca Golden’s mother, Elaine Golden, in a Florida intensive care unit, according to the New York Post. She reportedly suffered a cracked skull and broken nose.

“She’s still in a lot of pain,” Bianca Golden’s aunt, Annette Glinton, told the newspaper earlier this week. “She was just trying to get her daughter away from those people.”

Glinton alleges “a big man” — thought to be Carl Blonsky, repeatedly punched Elaine Golden in the head.

Carl Blonsky remains in custody in Turks and Caicos. According to the Post, a relative of the family claimed that the Blonskys are unable to post his $75,000 bail. He faces a charge of “grievous bodily harm” and is expected to remain in police custody through Friday.

As previously reported, Nikki was charged with actual bodily harm, a police spokesperson confirmed to Access Hollywood. Nikki was released on $6,000 bail.

“ANTM” contestant Bianca was also charged with actual bodily harm and released on $6,000 bail. The model was released on her own accord with the promise of returning for a court date on Sept. 17.

Additionally, racial slurs may have caused tempers to flare between the two families, prompting the altercation, according to the newspaper.

At least one account of the incident alleges that the tussle began when the Golden family asked the Blonskys to move their luggage from airport lounge seats. After moving their belongings, the Blonsky family reportedly began making racially charged remarks, including using the “N-word,” Maria Williams, Bianca’s cousin, claimed in the Post.

“Bianca sat and listened and tried to ignore it until it got too much for her, and then she told Nikki to shut her mouth,” Williams reportedly told the Post.

A different source reportedly told the newspaper the situation got heated after someone with the Goldens allegedly said, “I don’t want to sit next to any white b----.”

When contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for Nikki Blonsky had no comment.
