Police say a Miami man has died after being fatally stabbed when he asked his neighbor to turn down the volume of his music.

Miami police say 24-year-old Phillip Arthur died minutes after arriving at a hospital Saturday morning.

His 51-year-old neighbor in the Liberty City public housing complex has been arrested.

According to a statement from police, Arthur had asked the neighbor to lower the music because his wife was trying to sleep.

Police say the neighbor became enraged, grabbed a knife and stabbed Arthur once in the chest in front of his wife and children in the courtyard of their complex.

Officers called to the scene recovered the knife and took the neighbor into custody.
