Brad and Angelina have been no strangers to the headlines recently, but little attention has been focused on their new movie … until last night.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith stepped out for their premiere on Tuesday night and Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson was in the middle of the madness.
First to arrive — the lovely Mrs. Smith, who was in no rush to make it down the red carpet amid the screaming fans.
"It's been 30 minutes since you got here, what have you been doing?" Shaun asked.
"I've been looking for you," Angelina joked.
But all Jolie found was screaming fans of hungry photographers as she made her way from the limo drop off, down the crowd-flanked street, walking along the pavement in a stunning leather Versace dress to shake hands with the excited fans.
Finally, the joyous Jolie hit the red carpet, still stopping every few feet for autographs.
"What is the craziest thing that the fans have been saying to you?" Shaun asked.
"You know what the thing is, everybody is asking how my son is," Angelina revealed.
"And how is little Maddox doing?" followed Shaun.
"He's fantastic," the proud mama beamed.
But after all, this was about her new movie, "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," which opens Friday.
"How happy are you to finally be here at the premiere past all of the hype and letting everybody see what a great film this really is?" Shaun asked.
"I'm thrilled becase I do think it turned out really, really well and I'm excited we're here," Angelina smiled.
Clearly she wasn't the only one psyched for the premiere as evidenced by the hordes of fanatics who went equally crazy for the arrival of Mr. Smith — Brad Pitt, who showed up with a new bleach blond 'do.
So why the change?
"It's a good question," Brad laughed. "I woke up and got some [bleach] ...one of my idiotic moves."
Like his costar, the always generous Pitt spent time signing autographs for the fans, as Jolie spoke with the press.
And while they never seemed to cross paths the entire night, they both were reveling in the fans' block party. Even a few celebs were among those enjoying the scene, including fellow blond Lindsay Lohan, who caught the star before he made his way to the fans and scored a kiss on the cheek.
"I just ran up to Brad Pitt like a stalker," Lindsay joked.
"What did you say to him?" asked Shaun.
"I said, 'I just have to introduce myself' and he didn't know who I was," laughed Lohan. "I was like 'Yeah, nice hair' and he was like, 'I want to talk to you later,' and I was like, 'OK.'"
About an hour after the stars arrived, Angelina swept past Brad on her way inside while Pitt was still working the crowd, finally escaping without a word about his personal life.
And if Brad and Angelina's relationship is the real deal, he's certainly not talking about it yet … not even to "Primetime's" Diane Sawyer.
"Are you going to be able to keep this up, not talking about it?" Sawyer asked during an interview on Tuesday night's show.
"There's not so much to talk about at this time," a coy Brad replied. "If there is, I will."
