How many Get Out of Jail Cards does Pete Doherty have? Apparently quite a few.

The Babyshambles rocker has been released from a U.K. prison after serving only six weeks of a six-month sentence for drug possession.

But he's not completely in the clear.

According to reports, he must wear a monitoring device and adhere to a 7 p.m. curfew.

"On this bright sunny morning Peter was released from prison and thanks everyone for their valued support whilst inside," reads a statement on his official website.

Doherty, 32, has a long history of law-breaking and substance abuse, having been sent to the Big House on two prior occasions.

But his latest stint in the slammer stemmed from his 2010 arrest for possessing crack following a blowout bash that resulted in the overdose death of heiress-turned-filmmaker Robyn Whitehead. Following a police investigation, he was charged with possession and supplying controlled drugs.

A year later, Doherty pleaded guilty to the possession charge and in May a judge sentenced him to six months behind bars.

Now that he's a free man, the former Libertines frontman has already lined up a series of solo gigs, the first of which kicks off in North London on Saturday.

Still, Doherty still burglary charges in Germany for allegedly breaking into a record shop and stealing a guitar, which could net him five years in the clink there.

His timing is impeccable, given that ex-galpal Kate Moss' tied the knot six days ago in Gloucestershire with Jamie Hince, guitarist for The Kills.

Probably for the best Doherty missed that party.
