Penelope Cruz is the sexiest woman alive, according to Esquire magazine, which put the actress on its November cover.
The magazine's related article is more about bullfighting in Cruz's native Spain than about the actress herself. Even its author, Chris Jones, admits as much.
But the article is more likely to be looked at than read anyway. It features photos of Cruz, 40, showing off impossibly long legs while leaning on a camera tripod and showing off her curves in a black swimsuit.
Cruz wed Spanish actor Javier Bardem, who co-starred with her in the 2008 Woody Allen film "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," in 2010. They have one son, Leonardo, and one daughter, Luna.
Last year, actress Scarlett Johansson was named Esquire's sexiest woman. Johansson is the only repeat winner, as she was also named the magazine's sexiest woman in 2006. Other winners include Angelina Jolie, Mila Kunis and Rihanna.
