Paul McCartney is looking good and "feeling great" in a new video in which he reassures fans that his "Out There" tour is getting back on track following an illness that briefly sidelined the former Beatle.
"I feel great!" he says in the short video, adding that he understands fans have wondered about his health. "Feeling great, rocking and rolling ... yeah!" he shouts (no twisting, though) before launching into some air guitar.
He noted that dates which had been postponed have now been rescheduled for September and October. The tour will resume on July 5 in Albany, New York, and just added another stop in Greensboro, North Carolina, for Oct. 30.
The 72-year-old contracted a virus and was hospitalized while touring in Japan this past May. Though he'd initially wanted to continue on tour, his advisers convinced him to cancel several dates, including a first-ever stop in South Korea. On June 9 he posted a statement on his website saying he was taking doctors' advice to "take it easy for just a few more days."
