They’re no longer in it to win it, but three ousted “American Idol” contestants are ready to take their talents on tour.

Rob Bolin recently announced that he and fellow ex-“Idol” hopefuls Chris Medina and Tim Halperin will soon hit the road for a cross-country tour, but there may be more to the story than Bolin mentioned. TMZ reports that multiple sources have confirmed that 95 percent of the profits raised during the series of shows will go to the Juliana Recovery Fund, a charity that covers medical expenses for Medina’s fiancée, Juliana Ramos.

Medina first introduced “American Idol” fans to Ramos during his audition. That’s when the competition’s former sentimental favorite retold the story of their romance and the tragic accident that left Ramos severely disabled just before their planned wedding.

In addition to the eliminated trio’s tour efforts, another group of past “Idols” hope to help Medina help Ramos. On his Facebook fan page, Medina promoted an April 13 benefit concert in Merrionett Park, IL, which will feature appearances by Caleb Hawley, Carson Scott Higgins, Jerome Bell and Ta-Tynisa Wilson.
