To kick off Team Truth's Oscar week madness--I will be backstage on Sunday, possibly asking some of your questions--it's time to post our picks of who we think will win big during the telecast.

Sure, there are the obvious favorites, like Natalie Portman and Colin Firth, who haven't lost yet during awards season, but we have a feeling there are a few upset potentials:

RELATED: A complete list of this year's Oscar nominees

Natalie Portman vs. Annette Benning:

We have no doubt the Black Swan darling will most likely take Oscar home, but her only other competitor is four-time nominee Annette. Sure, Bening has lost out a few times to Hilary Swank, but Conviction wasn't good enough to get Hil into the category.

Could this be the Academy's way of making up for past loses? If so, the camera better stay on Natalie's gorgeous mug. She's practically ready to pop, those hormones would make for quite the losing face.

Christian Bale vs. Geoffrey Rush

Bale gave such a helluva performance in The Fighter that we think he deserves to win, but The King's Speech has all the momentum right now.

We have a feeling it will take home Best Picture and possibly Best Director, so why not just give the Brit's an almost clean sweep?

Christian is a terrific actor, but pretending to be happy for Rush's possible upset would be his most challenging role to date. This is an understatement.

Colin Firth vs. Nobody

He's a lock.

Melissa Leo vs. Hailee Steinfeld

We are like 90 percent sure Leo will take it, but in case her fellow nominated costar Amy Adams splits the votes, watch out for little Hailee.

The True Grit star already one at Critics Choice and she was the one who essentially knocked Mila Kunis off the nominee list.

Hopefully Leo, whom we love, would be slightly sauced to lessen the loss (did you see her sauce factor at the Globes, already?). Still, think Melissa's got a good shot at not being upset by darling, Hailee, so this is low on our possible-upset list, the major ones are listed above.

Who do you all think could be potential winners (and not) at the Oscars this Sunday? Hopefully one of these upsets happens or else it will be too predictable like always.
