Is a Beatles reunion in the works?
British paper The Sun got people talking with an article claiming that two of the Fab Four, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, may be planning to come together to play Beatles music during the London Olympics next summer.
But before we get too excited, we had to find out if this was in fact true...

While it may be that McCartney is planning on playing at the London Olympics, a proposed Beatles reunion doesn't sound too promising.
The most obvious problem is that half of the band, John Lennon and George Harrison, have passed away. But The Sun piece quoted an insider who suggested the missing members could be represented by their kids.
Not so fast. A rep for Julian Lennon, son of the late John Lennon, directed E! News to Julian's Facebook page, which addresses this announcement.
"There will NEVER be a Beatles reunion, because two of the members of the band have since passed... And NO ONE could, or should try to replace them... End of... x"
So, at least according to eldest of Lennon's two sons, that kind of a family affair is not going to happen.
But Macca and Ringo reteaming for a little "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"? Well, we'll just have to wait and see.
