Nurse Jackie star Stephen Wallem and his boyfriend have been together for a couple of years now, so is it any surprise that they want to get married?

Wallem and actor and theater professor Tony Humrichouser live in New York City. Gay marriage still isn't legal in the Empire State.
"I imagine we'll be in New York for as long as I could imagine, so I think the second it becomes legal, we will," Wallem, who plays Thor on the hit Showtime series, told me earlier this week at the GLAAD Media Awards. "It's ridiculous that it hasn't, but slowly yet surely it's happening. It's about time."
Wallem and Humrichouser, just celebrated their two-year anniversary. "We stayed in New York and went to the first hotel we ever stayed at together," Wallem said. "It's only four block away from our house, but it means a lot to us. We did have a bigger room this time."

Meanwhile, Wallem confirmed he'll be singing on Nurse Jackie. But it won't be a musical episode la Grey's Anatomy.
"They somehow found a circumstance for Thor to be singing," he said. "It's only me singing, but if I give you any other details it will give away a huge plot point."
Edie Falco actually made her cabaret debut in February alongside Wallem with The Other Steve and Edie, a three-night show at NYC's Laurie Beechman Theatre.
Perhaps we'll be hearing Falco sing on Nurse Jackie, too? Fingers crossed.
