No money, no problem for Kevin Federline

Britney Spears' attorneys want Kevin Federline to contribute to his legal bills, but Federline isn't worried about being told to fork over the cash.

From the sound of it, it might be time for Kevin Federline to start paying his own bills. Part of Federline’s current arrangement with his ex-wife Britney Spears stipulates that his legal fees — which includes $500,000 he owes to his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan — be paid by Spears.

Her attorney, Stacy Phillips, argues that Federline can contribute, and offered the example of Federline leaving a $2,000 tip on a recent $365 dining tab as evidence.

“Kevin is a good guy,” said a source who knows Federline, “and I don’t think he’s taken advantage of Britney, but he isn’t as squeaky clean as he’d have you believe. He still lives a pretty extravagant lifestyle for a guy who doesn’t make much money on his own.”

A judge will rule on the case, but in the meantime, Federline isn’t too worried. Said the source, “He knows he’s maintained a fairly good image throughout this, and at the end of the day, he isn’t under nearly the same microscope as Britney.”

Peace for ‘Sex and the City’ cast
There might be bitterness among some members of the “Sex and the City” cast over not appearing alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in promos for the upcoming film, as the Daily News’ Full Disclosure column first reported, but peace could be on the horizon.

Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr. on the "Let's Be Cops," red carpet, Selena Gomez is immortalized in wax and more.

Parker “is appearing on covers with the other women,” said Parker’s rep. Well, which covers? “It’s a surprise,” replied the rep, but a source familiar with the shoots said to look for the whole crew — Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon — on the covers of both monthly and weekly magazines.

Sneak peek at ‘Brothers & Sisters’Here’s a teaser that will make the wait until the April  20 return of “Brothers & Sisters” seem even longer: I’m told by a source close to the production that Emily VanCamp’s character, Rebecca, will receive a gift from David, aka Ken Olin’s character, that will motivate her to get a paternity test. Interesting ...

In other “Brothers & Sisters” cast news, Dave Annable tells Scoop that he recently returned from a trip with the United Service Organizations (USO). “I just got back from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, which was incredible. I got to do a trip down there with the USO and meet some of the soldiers, and you know it was sort of an incredible life experience and an incredible trip. I’m really excited to have done that in my life,” said Annable.

No tanner-gate on ‘Lipstick Jungle’
Television productions have been criticized for allowing many things to delay filming, but could an abuse of self-tanner be the latest excuse?

“Lipstick Jungle” guest star and NYC party-circuit regular Leven Rambin told reporters that the show’s star, Brooke Shields, so inappropriately lathered on the liquid sunshine she slowed down the production. “Brooke was self-tanning every day to get ready for some sex scenes,” said Rambin, who is also an “All My Children” regular.

“This is totally not true,” said Shield’s rep. “I don’t think Brooke has ever even used self-tanner, much less allowed herself to turn orange from it. Please.”
