Hoda surprised her best friend Karen last weekend with a birthday visit to New Orleans. But she wasn't without ulterior motives.

Specifically: BBQ shrimp motives. Hoda reported being bewitched by the dish at Mr. B's Bistro. It's not traditional "barbecue," reports Hoda (Mr. B's is a legendary Creole joint), and involves dipping bread in delicious shrimp butter. Hoda and Karen also enjoyed Italian at Irene's and strolling around the legendary French quarter.
