DC Comics fans were in for a treat at this year’s Comic-Con, getting a good look at the first big-screen incarnation of the Joker since Heath Ledger in the trailer for the hotly anticipated "Suicide Squad."

But an even bigger draw was the debut of the latest trailer for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

The trailer, which is three-and-a-half minutes long and contains almost entirely new footage, reveals that Bruce Wayne was in Metropolis for the city-destroying brawl between Superman and General Zod at the end of 2013’s "Man of Steel," and is determined to stop the all-powerful man from Krypton. We also get our first look at Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and — although it's very brief — she doesn’t fail to impress. And not to be outdone, Jesse Eisenberg delivers a chilling few lines as Superman's archnemesis Lex Luthor.

The movie's March 2016 release date can't come soon enough.
