The next season of “The Celebrity Apprentice” is over a month away, but it’s already clear which two contestants are the ones to watch.
In an interview with Essence.com, NeNe Leakes confirmed that the buzzed-about personality clash between her and Star Jones will give “Apprentice” fans some “Real Housewives”-worthy drama.
“So, I don’t get along with Star Jones very well,” Leakes explained. “She and I are cool coming out the door, but then we get into a place where Star’s not so cool. I’m really not feeling Star. Like I think Star is everything that people have said about her. I do. Seriously, I’m for real. Anyone who’s sitting around (acting like) “Foie gras … I’m a white woman from the Upper East Side,” and really you are a black woman? Child, please.”
During a recent appearance on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,” boardroom boss Donald Trump said the problems between the two were like nothing he’d ever seen.
“(Star) had a huge problem with NeNe,” Trump said of the celebs. “These two, I mean, it was like fist fights all the time. … I’ve never seen confrontation like this. In fact, they make Omarosa look nice.”
Leakes and Jones will be joined by La Toya Jackson, Gary Busey, Jose Canseco, Meatloaf and more when “The Celebrity Apprentice” premieres March 6.
