From the White House to Hollywood, celebrities on social media Tuesday raised a glass to St. Patrick's Day.

Neil Patrick Harris toasted to the holiday with his two wee "leprechauns," Harper and Gideon.

In the White House, President Barack "O'bama" celebrated in style.

In what's become an annual Twitter tradition, "Scandal" star Kerry Washington reminded followers that her first name has Irish roots.

Harry Styles' St. Patrick's Day greeting wasn't particularly revelatory, but since the One Direction singer has nearly 24 million Twitter followers, it doesn't take much to collect 125,000 favorites and 90,000 retweets.

NASCAR driver Danica Patrick marked the occasion on multiple social media platforms. On Instagram, she showed off a green bouquet...

... then considered the implications of sharing a name with the holiday in question.

From the racetrack to the baseball diamond, St. Paddy's celebrations were in full swing.

"The DUFF" star Bella Thorne hoped "Kiss me, I'm Irish" would be more than a proclamation on a seasonal shirt.

And as if you needed any more incentive to party, "Party Hard" singer Andrew W.K. reminded Twitter followers to, well, do just that.
