Hallelujah! NBC is going all out with its midseason lineup this season, and we like it!

What can you look forward to come January? For starters, the return of Parks and Recreation, more Parenthood (as promised), a welcome schedule swap for Law &Order: SVU and a giddy-good 30 Rock renewal.

But oh yeah, there's more...

The biggest, bestest, most important thing to know about your NBC lineup come fall is that those network execs have done the brilliantly unthinkable: They've gone ahead and made the Thursday night comedy block three hours!

Instead of trying to squeeze Parks and Recreation's third season into another time slot on another night, NBC decided to clear out The Apprentice at 10 p.m. and mix and match all of the comedy gold it has right at its fingertips.

That means starting Jan. 20, Community stays put at 8 p.m., the new Olivia Munn comedy Perfect Couples premieres at 8:30, The Office sticks it out at 9 p.m., P-Rex finally gets some love in the slot it was made for (9:30 p.m.), 30 Rock gets some late night action at 10 p.m. and Outsourced rounds out the festivities at 10:30 p.m.

We don't know what your take on all this is, but we think that's what Michael Scott would call a win-win-win!

And when we promised more 30 Rock, we meant it. NBC has officially picked up the Emmy fave for another season, through 2012. Yay, Liz Lemon!

Since the whole Jay Leno 10 p.m. debacle last year, Law &Order: SVU has been left to fend for itself at 9 p.m., but not any more. Starting Jan. 5, SVU will air a two-hour episode and relocate permanently to 10 p.m. the following week.

Plus, there's good news for those worried about Parenthood being pulled before the end of the season. Lauren Graham &Co. return to Tuesdays at 10 p.m., and then continue their second season there until March 7 when it swaps nights to Mondays at 10 p.m.

Law &Order: Los Angeles also moves to Tuesdays at 10 starting Feb. 8, and freshman thriller Chase relocates to Wednesdays at 9 p.m. beginning Jan. 12.

Of the new batch of shows to mark on your calendars, superhero series The Cape premieres Sunday, Jan. 9, Kathy Bates' Harry's Law begins Monday, Jan. 17 and America's Next Great Restaurant hits airwaves Wednesday, March 16.

Also back in the lineup this spring are reality faves The Biggest Loser: Couples, Lisa Kudrow's Who Do You Think You Are?, game show Minute to Win It, The Marriage Ref and The Celebrity Apprentice.

What do you think of all the scheduling hustle-bustle over at NBC? Are you excited Parks and Rec is finally getting its due? Will you follow Parenthood and SVU to their new times? And are you ready for more 30 Rock? Let us know in the comments!
