NBC is renewing “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” for another year.
Series creator and executive producer Dick Wolf said Tuesday he’s “thrilled” that the crime drama will return for its 11th season. “Special Victims Unit” is NBC most-watched scripted series.

Whether stars Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni will be back as well remained a mystery Tuesday. A person familiar with the matter said they had yet to conclude contract talks with NBC Universal Television Studio.
The person asked not to be identified because they were not authorized to comment on the discussions.
The actors went through reportedly bitter negotiations two years ago, each emerging with deals worth roughly $6.5 million per season.
