A dress worn by Judy Garland in “The Wizard of Oz” sold for over $1.5 million at a recent auction. But as KLG and Hoda reveal, it isn’t the most expensive piece of movie memorabilia ever: That distinction belongs to Marilyn Monroe’s “subway” dress from the 1955 film “The Seven-Year Itch,” which sold for a cool $5.6 million.
