Despite persistent rumors to the contrary, “Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus has no plans to leave the hit Disney show that made her a star.
In an interview with “Extra,” the teen queen insists she has plenty of “Hannah” days ahead of her.
“We've got too many episodes to finish,” Cyrus said of the show's current season. As far as the future goes, she added, “I am staying with the show. It's so much fun. We have a really good time — as much as it's really hard work, it's really great.”
The only wanderlust Cyrus says she currently suffers from is the desire to hit the road behind the wheel of her own car.
“I am begging," she the soon-to-be 16-year-old admitted. “(But) I got to go take my (driving) test first.”
Homeless ‘Idol’ contestant's upcoming release at risk
Former “American Idol” contestant Josiah Leming is set to release his first album in January, but that won't happen if producers of the reality TV talent show have their way.
The New York Post reports that the teen received a letter threatening legal action if he persists with his musical plans.
Though Leming, who was living out of his car when he auditioned for “Idol” last season, didn't land a spot among the show's top competitors, he did sign a contract with producer Simon Fuller.
The standard contract limits him, and all other contestants, to recording under the Sony/BMG record label. Leming signed with Warner Records for his upcoming release.
"Josiah was the only 'Idol' contestant ever to get a record deal who didn't make the top 24, and one of only four contestants to get a deal this year,” Leming's rep told the Post. “He has personal reasons for getting his music out, threat or not. His mother has terminal cancer, and nothing is going to stop him from getting his music out while she is alive to share it."

Singer-songwriter and celebrity heartbreaker John Mayer's been romantically linked to Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson, Minka Kelly and most recently, Jennifer Aniston. But according to pop star Pink, Mayer boasts there's something other than fame that all intimate interests have in common. “I got into an argument with (John),” Pink revealed to The Sun. “He said something along the lines of, ‘I only shag really stupid women.’ And I said, ‘I guess they would have to be.’ I don’t get him at all.” ... Actress Jessica Biel admits she has growing concerns with growing older. "I don't know how I'll cope with aging — I better start figuring it out," Biel told the U.K. Edition of Marie Claire. "I feel my knees changing — like, why do I have this pain when I'm running on the treadmill? What's going on with my lower back when I wake up in the morning? I just feel changes. And I'm definitely fearful in a very vain manner about my body aging. I think it's freaky weird to look at a picture of your grandmother when she was a young woman and look at her now."
