Teen queen Miley Cyrus plans to leave 20-year-old boyfriend Justin Gaston behind, but the other older man in her life doesn’t approve. According a report in the National Enquirer, the “Hannah Montana” star’s father, Billy Ray Cyrus, hopes his daughter keeps her model man around.

“Miley thinks her career is at a tipping point, where she’s transitioning from kid stuff to more mature movies and music, and she doesn’t want to be tied down with Justin,” a source told the magazine. “She has a nagging feeling that Justin is trying to ride her coattails to success and she resents that.”

The 16-year-old allegedly told friends that Justin is “cramping her style,” but that’s not how Billy Ray Cyrus sees it. He introduced Gaston to his little girl last year and still holds out hope for the relationship.

“(Billy Ray warned Miley she’s) behaving immaturely and that she’ll regret dumping Justin,” the source revealed. “Billy Ray thinks Justin is a solid, stand-up Christian guy who keeps his nose clean and stays out of trouble.”

Dad may have a hard time convincing the younger Cyrus to change her mind, as the issue is less about Gaston’s character and more about the teen star’s wandering eye.

“It’s finally dawning on (Miley) that she’s young, rich and famous,” the source said. “And she can have any guy she’s interested in.”

Rodman’s revised rehab plan Despite receiving his well-deserved walking papers from Donald Trump over a month ago, Dennis Rodman still puts “The Celebrity Apprentice” first. The retired NBA star recently declined the opportunity to seek inpatient rehabilitation for his ongoing addictions, opting instead to keep his schedule clear for the “Apprentice” finale.

E! News revealed Rodman turned his back on friends and family last week after they gathered for an intervention.

“Yes, they tried an intervention, but unfortunately Dennis refused to go,” Rodman’s rep said. “We all know how amazing he is when sober, and we hope he gets there soon.”

Now that he’s had some time to think about it, the former power forward reached a treatment compromise. Rodman will still attend his reality TV reunion next week, but he’ll do it in between outpatient rehab sessions.

Dish on the fly “Transformers” star Shia LaBeouf already met his ideal woman, but he knows it could never work out between them. “Probably the sexiest woman I know is my mother,” LaBeouf revealed to Playboy magazine. “She’s an ethereal angel. Nobody looks like that woman.” The Oedipally inclined actor added, “If I could meet my mother and marry her, I would. I would be with my mother now, if she weren’t my mother, as sick as that sounds.” Ahem. … Did Coldplay copy Cat Stevens on their Grammy-winning song “Viva La Vida”? Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Stevens, thinks so. In the past, Creaky Boards and Joe Satriani laid claim to the catchy melody, but Islam told The Sun it’s all his. “There’s been this argument about Coldplay stealing this melody from Joe Satriani, but, if you listen to it, it’s mine!” Islam insisted. “It’s ‘The Foreigner Suite,’ it is!”
