Miley Cyrus' normal good cheer on Twitter was replaced with sadness on Tuesday and Wednesday after she shared the news that her dog Floyd had died.
The pop star posted several tweets in which she said she was "broken" and "miserable," and she shared photos of herself with her beloved pet.
The singer did not explain how the Alaskan Klee Kai died.
Cyrus, who is currently touring, even reached out to fans who may be seeing her show in Boston on Wednesday.
A tweet linking to an Instagram photo of a Chinese cookie fortune read, "Sometimes pf changs knows just what you need to hear."
But her first tweet Wednesday morning conveyed a rough start to the day without Floyd.
